Hello Olivier,

that's confusing. I wonder why EM Server displays a different version number than the number with which you are developing.

Would you be available for a telco this Friday or somewhen next week?

Hi Olivier, I have just tested SmartSEM 5.05 with API Client 3.6/Server 3.6 and API Client 4.0/Server 4.0, and it works in both cases. Do you have the same API Server version as the Client version? Which SmartSEM 5.05 Service packs do you have installed? Could you please nevertheless try if it works...

Attached screenshots of 'Grab to MMF' tests with store resolution > 1024x768 using API Test program.

@Olivier
Could you please try if you can reproduce this result?

Dear Olivier, You told me that your API version is 4.0. However, for SmartSEM 5.05 the matching API version is 3.6. Although using a higher version usually works fine, you may try to go back to 3.6 and see if it works with that version. There was a Grab to MMF bug that prevented store resolutions la...

Hello Olivier, Below I am forwarding the information from our software developers: The resolution you mention is one of the “standard” four resolutions so all systems support it. The API manual (Remote API 5.3) continues to say: "The size of the grabbed image is determined by the value of the p...

Hi Olivier,

I have forwarded your Grab to MMF question to our software development department. I hope they can solve the problem.
I will also send you a copy of the newest version of the API Manual to your email address.

Regards,
Heiko

Dear Jincheng, if there is a systematic offset in Y when doing Delta X movements, then probably the Stage Angle Calibration of the stage is not correct. This calibration procedure can be found in SmartSEM Service -> Calibration wizard. Have your service engineer do that calibration and see if it mak...

Hello Olivier, sorry, I thought that I had already replied to your question. I don't think it is a problem in your code. The Grab() documentation in the API Manual says 'The image size you are trying to grab should be in the X-range of 0-1024 and Y-range of 0-768, independent of the image store reso...

Dear Jincheng Xiong, Unfortunately there is no comprehensive Manual for SmartSEM macro writing. There is only an older but not out-dated tutorial, which I am attaching to this post. Please note that there also is a SmartSEM module called 'Automated Imaging' that does exactly what you are requiring. ...

Hello Olivier,

Does your application maybe still hold a handle to CZ.MMF while you are changing to a higher store resolution? This would cause a grab failure.

Best regards,
Heiko
