Will Labscope v2 (now Labscope Material) continue to be supported? Will support for new cameras be added? Since this app supports the functionality we need we are still using it in our classrooms and labs.

Hi, Why can't you just include the same functionality that was in MatLab v2? This is critical to how we use the micrscopes and Labscope in our environment. Will Labscope v2 (now Labscope Material) continued to be supported? Will it support new cameras? Since this app supports the functionality we ne...

Hi, Can I please get an update from Zeiss on this question? To summarize, we are looking for a way to automatically save snapped images to a network share in Labscope 3, as we did with Labscope 2. We are going to be using newer Zeiss cameras that only work with Labscope 3 and have to have this funct...

Hi, Yes, we did this, but it is still not saving images automatically to the SMB share, students have to manually copy them from the iPad to the share. Also, with Labscope v2 we were able to map to a subfolder within the shared drive, but with the native Files app it looks like you can only map to t...

Hi,

With Labscope 2 files were automatically be saved to the SMB share. How can this be accomplished with the File app? Or do we have to manually move files within the File app after they are first saved by Labscope 3?

Hi, 1. Typically we have anywhere from 15-25 cameras on the network at a time and usually we will see at least two or three go offline over a 24 hour period if they are all left on. We created a dedicated test environment with 8 cameras, separate from our regular network, and one camera went offline...

Labscope 3 and Network (SMB) Shares?

Is it possible to save images/videos from Labscope v3 for iPad to an SMB network share like you can in Labscope v2? I can't seem to find this setting in the new version of Labscope.

Hi, The problem affects all devices running Labscope - including iPads with the current and previous versions of IOS, as well as Windows 8 and 10 computers. We see this with the 2.x version of Labscope as well as the new 3.x version, on both iPads and Windows. When the problem occurs with a particul...

Axiocam ERc 5s Cameras go Offline in Labscope

We have a problem where our Axiocam ERc 5s cameras periodically become inaccessible (offline) from within the Labscope app (Windows and iPad, v2.x and v3.x). The problem happens randomly, but each camera probably drops off once or twice a day. They are no longer found automatically within Labscope a...

Multicast?

Do the microscope cameras and labscope use Multicast to stream the video content? We've been troubleshooting some performance issues with labscope and we are wondering if it may have something to do with multicast.

Thanks
