It does look for wired connections, just that not with iPad. It's meant to be a wireless connection with iPad or iPhone, so I guess there should not be any programming in the software to look for wired apple devices. It looks for wired Windows devices.

Thanks! Just to make sure then, this one is plug and use right? Would I be able to open the web browser of the Camera (IP addres) and use the camera, the OSD and all it functions on an ANDROID phone using Chrome Browser? We're also offering Labscope and ZEN, but our customer insists on having the po...

Axiocam 208 Not Connecting to WiFi directly

Hi, I have a sittuation where a client needs to connect to the camera without a router, I know Axiocam 208 can do this via an USB WiFi adapter. But when i connected one to the USB Hub, the "Connect to WLAN" menu doesn't appear. I know the USB adapter works, but it seems the camera does not...

Sorry to get involved,
So, what we should do to get encoded functions is Connect the Camera via Ethernet and use the power suply, not the USB to send energy to the camera? With that configuration we should have all the enconded functions?

Hi Anja,
I personally did not have any issues conecting an AC208 with Labscope.
Drawing functionality is avaliable in Labscope's Education Module. It also activates the Pointer Function.

Hi Helmut! What do you mean by controlling the remote cameras? Any function in particular? In my experiencie, when it comes to cameras, you can do the same in labscope "base" as in labscope teacher. You can controll other iPad's desktop, but just if they are using labscope, if an iPad is u...

We already know that the amount of iPads on the network depends on the router, network capacity, etc., but what we don't know is if a single camera can hold 30+ iPads.

Victor, I've run a succesfull test some weeks ago with 2 iPads and 2 iPhones. Wifi, all connected to the same Primo Star HD Cam. They all need to be under the same network, and make sure to connect the microscope on the same network too. For the record, I connected the microscope to a router, config...
