Image annotations made in ZEN are only partially saved in czi file

Post by user-5671 »

When I draw some graphics elements (like rectangles, Texts, arrows etc.) into a image file in ZEN blue lite (Vers 2.3), these annotations typically do not show up correctly after saving, closing and re-opening of the Image into ZEN. I do check the "keep" checkbox in the graphics tab.
Some of the elements might get lost completely (rectangles), others do show up (arrows), some show up partially (text annotations: the element itself is stored, but the text is lost).
Is this a bug that anyone else encountered? Is there a newer version of ZEN around that fixes these Bugs?

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers,
Erik

Hello Erik,

Sorry, we cannot reproduce your case.

Our tests on different computers worked as expected.

We used Zen blue with Hotfix 9 for ZEN 2.3 SP1 (blue edition)
See menu bar: Help / About Zen / Show Zen Information / Service Packs

The images where saved and opened as czi files.

I hope this helps to clarify your case.

you could explore alternative software or tools specifically designed for annotating images. There are various third-party image editing applications available that offer robust annotation features. These alternatives may provide a more reliable solution for your specific needs.
