No Live Image on IPad

Post by user-5232 »

Hi

i have the following Issue

Stemi 305 CAM is connected to IPAD via direct Wifi.
Ipad Version 8.4.1
Labscope has acces to virtual Microscopes (Ipad Settings)

There's no option that I can see a Live Immage at the Ipad.
I tried it several times.
May I update iOS to 9xxx?

We are using the Stemi Cam with the "spring arm" not the deskversion. So there is no ON/Off Option. After we connected the RJ45 Cable the camera lamp was brightened. So I guess it is connected.

Thanks a lot in advance

Hello,
In your post, you mentioned that you use RJ45 cable to setup Stemi 305 CAM, but actually the used cable should be RJ12. See the following attachment.
The attachment connected cable.jpg is no longer available
And our apps(Labscope and Matscope) both support iOS 8.4.1 version, you can search all the available cameras and play live of them on this version. So, maybe you should make confirmation of the following steps:
1. Make sure that the Stemi 305 CAM is correctly setup
2. You can search out SSID of the Stemi 305 CAM on iPad.(Go to "Settings" on iPad -> tap "Wi-Fi" option -> turn on "Wi-Fi" toggle -> the corresponding SSID should be listed)
3. Connect to the SSID, input the correct password
4. Make sure connecting is successful(there will be a blue check icon shown at the left of the SSID if connecting is successful)
5. Launch Labscope or Matscope on iPad, wait for seconds for searching, then you will see the thumbnail of Stemi 305 CAM, click the thumbnail will play live of the camera
PS: When you connect to the camera via wifi, please make sure that HTTP PROXY is off.

...but no live view....
As you can see, the blue light is brighten, but we have only the Example Pic in App.

Hello,
After you provided the screenshots of your app, I think I know the reason why you can't see the Stemi 305 CAM live. The root reason is that you use Virtual camera as the "Only microscope". The solution is to go to configuration page and turn off "Only use this microscope" toggle and apply the changes. Then a new tab will be shown in the app which is named microscope tab. In microscope tab, you will see the thumbnail of Stemi 305 CAM. Tap the thumbnail will lead the playing of live.

Screenshots of detailed steps:

1. Tap "Configuration" button
