Labscope-iPad-Primostar beginner

Post by David Ling »

Hello, I've been trying to connect 13 iPads to one Primostar 3 microscope, using both the wi-fi dongle provided with the microscope and connecting the scope via a wi-fi router (in the hope it might boost the signal). I can connect about 8 iPads but this seems to be the limit. Is this normal and is there any way I can connect all 13 iPads with the basic set-up. Thank you. Kind regards, David

Dear David,

please see attached document.
Theoretically, 12 devices should be connected to a Primostar 3 via LAN connection.
Also pay attention to the bandwidth which is provided by the router.
This must be sufficient for the connected iPads.

With best regards
