Controlling Axio Imager M2 with ZEN core Python API

Post by Guest »

Hello Everyone,

I am using ZEN Core to control a ZEISS Axio Imager M2.
I would like to write and run a custom Python script allowing me to take control of the imager by using a dedicated and compatible ZEN core Python API.
Could you please let me know if that is doable?
If so, could you point me out to the dedicated Python API I should use?

Thanks
Kind Regards

To control the microscope with ZEN core Python API, you need to import the required libraries into your Python script. These libraries include ZenWrapper, CSystem, and CApplication.

Yes, it is possible to write and run custom Python scripts to control a ZEISS Axio Imager M2 using ZEN Core. ZEN Core provides a Python API called "ZEN Blue" that allows you to control the microscope and perform various tasks programmatically.

To get started with using ZEN Blue, you will first need to install the Python environment that is compatible with ZEN Core. You can find instructions for doing so in the ZEN Core documentation. Once you have installed the Python environment, you can start using the ZEN Blue API.

The ZEN Blue API provides a wide range of functions for controlling the microscope, such as setting up experiments, acquiring images, and controlling the hardware. The API is well documented and includes sample code that you can use to get started.

To access the ZEN Blue API documentation and sample code, open the ZEN Core software and go to Help > Python API. This will open a webpage that contains the API documentation and sample code.

In addition, ZEISS also provides a forum where you can ask questions and get support from other ZEN Blue users. You can access the forum by going to https://community.zeiss.com/microscopy/home.

I hope this helps you get started with using the ZEN Core Python API to control your ZEISS Axio Imager M2!
