Hello,
I'm trying to run ZEN Intellesis in Zen 2.5 lite, but whenever I click "Train & Segment" I get the following message:
"Error
No valid Python installation was found. Please close ZEN and install the necessary Python tools from the ZEN setup wizard."
I couldn't find the ZEN setup wizard. I donwloaded OAD-master.zip from https://github.com/zeiss-microscopy/OAD and copied it to the "Macros" folder of Zen. I did this because this OAD seems to have python tools that the error message refers to. Unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem.
What should I do ?
Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Iuri C Valadão

Re: Unable to run software module ZEN Intellesis
Hi Iuri C Valadão,
It seems like the error message you received is due to the lack of valid Python installation in your system. The OAD-master.zip you downloaded and copied to the Macros folder of Zen may not have included the necessary Python tools required to run ZEN Intellesis.
One answer to this trouble is to check if Python is already installed on your system. If not, you can download and installation the latest version of Python from the official website. Another possible solution is to reinstall ZEN and make sure to select the option to install the necessary Python tools during the setup process.
Additionally, you may want to check if you have downloaded the Trial License for ZEN Intellesis as suggested by user-4. This may also affect the functionality of the software module.
I hope this helps you to unravel the issue. I have more than 10 years in programming in Andersen and i think it should help you.

Re: Unable to run software module ZEN Intellesis
ZEN is unable to find a valid Python installation on your system, which is necessary to run the ZEN Intellesis feature.
Firstly, make sure that you have installed Python on your system. You can download the latest version of Python from the official website at https://www.python.org/downloads/.
Once you have installed Python, you may need to update the system path to include the Python installation directory. To do this, you can follow these steps:
Open the Windows Control Panel.
Click on System.
Click on Advanced System Settings.
Click on Environment Variables.
Under System Variables, scroll down until you find the "Path" variable, and select it.
Click on Edit.
Add the path to the Python installation directory to the list of paths. For example, if you installed Python in the default directory, the path to add would be C:\PythonXX\ (where XX is the version number).
Click on OK to close all the windows.
After updating the system path, try running ZEN again and see if the issue is resolved. If not, you may need to reinstall ZEN and make sure to select the option to install Python during the setup process. Alternatively, you can try contacting the ZEN support team for further assistance.
