Primostar 3 Integrated Cam Driver Issue

Post by ozer baser »

Dear All,

After Zen ver 3.4 installation, the software can not recognize Primostar 3 integrated camera as active and "set exposure" and "Live" buttons modes are inactive.
We have try to install Labscope and than we could succeeded to get live view from primostar 3. Axiocam driver looks like installed in windows device manager but Zen software still would't recognize camera. Is there any advice to solution for this issue ?

Kind Regards,
Oezer

Hello ozer baser,

please note that this is a forum for Open Application Development (OAD) and not for Zen or Microscope-System specific themes.

From the Primostar 3 team I got the following answer:

Primostar 3 integrated Camera can only run with Labscope, it cannot run in ZEN.
This is due to the original design of Primostar 3 integrated camera.
If customers need to run ZEN, they have to choose trinotube with external camera.

For further information please contact your local ZEISS sales team.

Sometimes, a simple system reboot can help with connectivity or identity issues. Restart your computer and run the Zen software again to see if the camera is recognized.
